Janet Webb - Owner, Caregiver Specialist

Greetings! I am Janet Webb, owner of Home Sweet Home Cares & Services, LLC. Thank you for stopping by and learning about my company!

I moved to Iowa from Illinois in 1999 and have lived in Madison County since early 2002. I was in my early 20's and didn't know what I wanted to do with my life.

As a homemaker and then a new Mom in 2004, a friend suggested that I work with the elderly. And that is exactly what I did.

For 20+ years I have been providing in-home care for the elderly. I've worked for agencies, companies, along side hospice, long-term care facilities, assisted living facilities, and independently. This has provided a wealth of knowledge about the aging population, ailments, cares, services, and processes that take place.

I have been extremely blessed to work with the aging population. Everyday that I am needed, I look forward to it because it is like going and spending time with my grandparents. You never know what is going to be talked about on your shift, what adventures you might go on, or just how much you're appreciated that day. This is why Home Sweet Home Cares & Services, LLC was started because there is a HUGE need for elderly care.

My husband, Carl Webb, and I decided to create our own family owned and operated in-home care business. It is important to us to be our own company with our own rules, regulations, high quality standards of cares and services, and to be able to expand this type of service into a couple counties that may not have this service in their area. We made sure that we are insured and bonded. It is important to me to have trusted Caregivers and for all of our Clients. This is why our Caregivers are required to have a background check, drug testing, and a good driving record!

Touching lives is one of the biggest and proudest moments a Caregiver can do! The position of a Caregiver is rewarding for both the Client and and Caregiver. At the end of a day, I feel amazing that I was able to make someone's day a little bit brighter. And at the end of a day for a Client, they are grateful for everything I was able to do for them.

Home Sweet Home Cares & Services, LLC is an extension of my years of Caregiving! I will still be out there Caregiving when I can because it is something I love to do!
